the new dodge caliber—it’s everything but what they want it to be.

Okay. The new Dodge Caliber is…well…it’s cute. And that’s exactly what they don’t want you to think. It’s funny that a new model’s initial media blitz is all wrapped around trying to convince the public it’s not something that it is…instead of telling you about all the cool things that should make you want it. Maybe the focus groups were done a little late in the process. Maybe the R&D was a little off. Who knows. All I do know is when I saw this on the raod…I didn’t realize it was the car on TV. Perhaps it’s because they only show from one angle, and the camera is basically on the ground (where we all are when looking at cars—please). Or perhaps, it’s just tiny and cute. It’s not ugly, in my opinion…it’s just not what they want you to think it is. Reminds me of the (discontinued) Pontiac Aztec…which I’m sure looked good on paper, too.
